I don't need to comment this...Just coming back home. After one week working...heading to a very good Bod's BBQ.  Even the sea seems looking to rest for a few hours. I was sharing the feeling with the fishes I guess :)...

Thanks once again to the NewBay Organization Team (Sport & Social...but this time was mostly Erica's work) we had a very nice night, drinking and betting...and chatting ;). Nice indeed....but very nice landscape! I wasn't imagine the Aviva stadium so perfect in the landscape of Shelburne park! Simply wonderful!...

There is something that all my Italian friends ask me everytime: how much the Irish people drink?

Well…let’s say “a lot”. But what happens in Ballylooby is really, really beyond your expectation :) .

Once upon a time in Ballylooby (and maybe everywhere in Ireland) there was the Mass in the Christmas night. At midnight, all the people in town were used to go to the Church for the mass… the number reduced…reduced…and now there is a mass in the morning, at 7.30 AM.

But…where are the people? It seems that was used, after the mass, to go together to the pub!! So, the people, decided, step by step, to go for “one pint” to the pub BEFORE the mass…after a couple of years, nobody was at the mass but everybody were at the pub: even the priest decided to join them!!! :)

“A pint of Guinness, please”

Actually this “It seems that was used, after the mass, to go together to the pub!!” was never the case. You see, out of respect all pubs are closed for the whole of Christmas Day, so they close at midnight on Christmas Eve.
